Founder and Owner of Strategic Academic Success

Alex is a seasoned educational consultant (private school, college, and graduate school) and master tutor. Equipped with over a decade of first-hand experience in college prep and the rigorous climate of elite academic institutions, Alex has a unique insight into top-tier academic study and admissions, both at the secondary and university level.

Graduating with honors from Williams College with degrees in biology, chemistry and biochemistry, Alexandra went on to work at Yale University School of Medicine and continued her graduate studies at Harvard University.  Building on her experience as a researcher and educator, Alex founded her own company to provide her own brand of tailored academic assistance, emphasizing college counseling, tutoring, and STEM mentorship. 

With over 10 years of consulting experience and over 30,000 hours of tutoring for clients worldwide, Alex offers a boutique approach to academic consulting that has aided hundreds of students in achieving their academic goals.

Alex is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the Association for the Coaching and Tutoring Profession (ACTP), the National and International Tutoring Associations and the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
